Manitoba Health has the highest level of regulated standards in Canada for mobile food vehicles, UC Trailers doesn’t just meet the code, we exceed it! We use commercial kitchen grade flooring with 4′ coves, stainless steel sinks and countertops and your serving windows are triple paned with sliding screens.

Your trailer can be of any color you want and we also help with your logo, branding and everything to make your business a success

Equipment

You have the choice of either getting your own equipment OR we can do the ordering of equipment for you. When we order equipment, we will do our utmost to get you the best price possible. We will install your equipment to ensure that it is all properly tied down.

Propane, electrical and plumbing

Propane Tanks

The propane tanks are 100 LB tanks and are required by law to be installed with an interlocking system.* All gas equipment* is installed to code and required to pass Manitoba’s Gas Inspection.

Panels and wiring

We will install the panel and wiring.* All electrical equipment* is installed to CSA standards. Electrical inspection is required upon completion.

Generators

You can either purchase your own generator OR you can purchase a new CUMMINS generator from us.

Plumbing

All water tanks and plumbing* are installed to meet the required MB codes and pass inspection.

Air conditioning

Air conditioning and heating units can also be installed.

Sinks and hood fans

Concession trailers must contain the stainless steel triple sink package plus a separate hand wash sink as per MB Health code.

If you are equipping deep fryers or char broilers you must also install a hood fan and fire suppression as per MB fire codes. The Manitoba Fire Commissioners Office handles the Gas Inspections and their fee’s can be viewed on their website.

Materials and installations are completed to MB Public Health Codes (ie: triple sink w/separate handwash, all s.s. countertops, add’l handwash sink for open rear deck BBQ trailer, commercial grade 4′ coved flooring, propane gas fittings & installation, hood fan/fire suppression (if required), triple slide concession window, etc.).
